WORKPLACE FIRE/SAFETY EXTINGUISHER COURSE

Portable Fire Extinguishers can save lives and property by putting out or containing fires within the capability of the extinguisher.  However, they must be of the correct type for the particular fire, and they must be used correctly.   This can be achieved by having the skill, confidence and knowledge of knowing what to do in the event of a fire starting.

During this course you will learn how to identify different types of fires and identify the correct extinguisher to use.  It is recommended that you attempt to have as many of your staff trained as possible.  You never know when that fire may start.

The number one priority is and always will be personal safety. You will be taught how to stay safe and make decisions to keep yourself and others safe.

Individuals will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Phoenix Fire Training Solutions to state that they have attended a course based on First-attack firefighting as mentioned in the Australian Standards 3745-2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities.
